Programme:
Site set up and site clearance. No delays to the programme.
Work Activity:
The site compound was set up on the Local Authority car park upon Princes Drive on Friday 9th Jan.
Mon
Fencing erected from Boots to the Litten Tree. The method of clearance is to be achieved by fencing off sections of the street at a time whilst maintaining a pedestrian access down each side at all times.
No delay was experienced with the site clearance.
Tues
Continued site clearance. Fencing extended to just beyond W H Smith.
Wed
Continued site clearance.
Thurs
Continued site clearance.
The excavated planter areas were re-instated with sub-base and temporary road surface to allow for traffic using the alley/rd between Station Road and Penrhyn Road.
Fri
Continued site clearance. Further accommodation was made for users of the alley/road between Penrhyn Road and Station Road by opening up a section of the fenced off area down the middle as the clearance was completed there.
Next Weeks Programme:
Excavation of the middle section of the site to finished excavation depth.
