The mortar silos having been moved to the junction between Ivy Street and Sea View Road released an area to excavate and backfill up to HDM layer.
The flagging outside the properties continued from the Alzheimer’s premises to outside Inner Beauty. Further flagging around ironworks and tree pits was undertaken.
The kerb line for the planter running from the edge of the Bay View Centre up towards Bay View Road was completed.
The contractor had ordered the incorrect seating for the site. It was discovered that they had ordered Eastgate seats, rather than Eastgate benches. In order to mitigate the issue, three of the seats have been placed on Greenfield roundabout in order to create a seating area and to use as a buffer in order to prevent illegal parking. The remaining two seats are to be placed on Sea View Road along with the benches.
