Colwyn Bay Streetscape Improvements – Greenfield Road
Week 7 – Phase 1, 2 & 4 Works - week beginning 22nd October 2007
The pedestrian refuges along the access road to the shopping centre and along Greenfield Road are now completed.
The paving along Phase 4 of the works is completed to the lower access point to Greenfield Garage – this includes the setts immediately in front of the buildings and all cuts/pointing.
The lower section of Phase 4 is now ready for paving; the contractor is planning to start excavations on Phase 3 of the project week beginning 29th October.
The tree has arrived and has been planted- the contractor is waiting for the grille to arrive which surrounds the tree-the paving can then be completed in the immediate vicinity.
The contractor advises that he is approximately 3 weeks behind schedule at this point.
