Colwyn Bay Streetscape Improvements – Greenfield Road
Week 5 – Phase 1, 2 & 4 Works -week beginning 8th October 2007
Phase 1 - The main stonewall is now completed, the two flanking walls at the boundaries of CG car park are both finished.
Paving has now been completed in front of the stonewall and all vehicle access points have been completed.
The pedestrian crossing points are now both completed on this phase.
Phase 1 is virtually complete save for lighting/signs/connections.
Phase 2 - The paving on Phase 2 is largely complete, the only area to be finished is that surrounding the tree pit – this will be completed once the tree has been planted.
The pedestrian crossing point on Bay View Road and the crossing on the shopping mall access road are both complete. Again lighting/signs need completing on Phase 2.
Phase 4 - The paving has extended to approximately ¾ length of the phase. Pedestrian crossing points have been installed along Greenfield Road and across the vehicle accesses within the pavement area.
The contractor advises that he is approximately two and a half weeks behind schedule at this point.
