Intro Greenfield Road
The first phase of the Colwyn Bay Street Refurbishment scheme ‘Streetscape’ gets underway on 10 September 2007
with changes to Greenfield Road and Bay View Road junction which is one of the main gateways into the town.
The enhancement work will include new pavements with pedestrian build outs,
lighting and changes to the existing roundabout layout.

- The foot way along Bay View Road into the access for the shopping centre has been excavated from the compound area down.
- Greenfield Road Week 3
- The paving along Bay View and Greenfield Road (Phase 1 side) is now well underway; vehicle access points on Bay View Road have also been paved.
- Greenfield Road Week 4
- The main stonewall is near completion, the two flanking walls at the boundaries of CG car park are currently in progress.

- The pedestrian crossing points are now both completed on this phase
- Greenfield Road Week 6
- At this point the contractors are still waiting for delivery of the tree in order to complete this phase.
- Greenfield Road Week 7
- The pedestrian refuges along the access road to the shopping centre and along Greenfield Road are now completed.
- Greenfield Road Week 8
- The
paving is almost completed along this phase – the contractor is
currently waiting for electrical connections to be completed before the
final few metres of paving can be laid.
- Greenfield Road Week 9
- The tree guard has been fitted, this area is now complete
