Bae Colwyn Bay

Colwyn Bay Town Centre Improvement scheme Phase 1 is now complete giving Colwyn Bay a whole new look.

The enhancement work has included new paving, trees, planters and street furniture with Greenfield Road also seeing new pavements and crossing points.  A new rising bollard system has been installed in Station Road and is now fully operational. 

We are in the process of having Stage 3 Safety Audit Checks conducted on all 3 elements of Phase 1,Greenfield Road Roundabout, Sea View Road and Station Road, once these are complete any remedial works will also be carried out.

Following this work the road will then be sealed and cleaned.

• Rising Bollard System on Station Road - No vehicles (except emergency service vehicles)will be able to access Station Road from 11am to 4pm.Outside of these hours – 4pm to 11am,access for loading and for disabled access only.6pm to 6am – night time taxi rank.
