Bae Colwyn Bay

Tourism is North Wales’ biggest industry, and we want to maximise our potential within this market.

By improving the town as a whole, we can make it a more attractive prospect for visitors and a great place to stay and enjoy our coastline, attractions and events.

Colwyn Bay already has a good selection of independent shops and a bustling vibe to the high street. But we know we can build on this and make Colwyn Bay a specialist niche market shopping destination.

As well as support and improve the retail businesses that are already here, the same goes for commercial business.

We want to support the growth of existing businesses in the town, and encourage new investment whilst making sure the needs of employers are met with a skilled and motivated local work force.

We want to support and encourage unemployed people back into work by promoting training and learning opportunities at work.

This in turn will increase growth and opportunity for employers, and within the Bay as a whole.
